The Content Server IDE (CSIDE) Fundamentals course provides an in-depth understanding of the functionality of the Content Server IDE, the application development component of the Content Server SDK. You will learn how to customize a Content Server application, including both the underlying functionality and the Web interface, with overviews of the REST API and Smart UI architecture.
Highlights:
- Create modules to package customizations for easy installation and upgrades
- Write code using OScript, Content Server’s programming language
- Create request handlers to process new functionality
- Add new types of items (nodes) to be stored and managed by Content Server
- Add new interface components and modify the current interfaces
- Integrate code into the Content Server object system in supported ways
- Programming knowledge and experience (especially object-oriented languages such as Java or C++)
- Application development knowledge and experience
- Basic knowledge of HTML for web interface customization
- Strong knowledge of the Content Server interface and functionality
